Overall it's a straightforward app to pick up as long as you do it the Adobe way. The color module is weak compared to Aperture. They employ a sledgehammer where a more delicate touch might be desired. I find many of Lightroom's tools best be left alone. After more use I found that my approach to tools usage had to change. In Aperture land there was all sorts of talk about LR's tools. Occasionally I go to a C1 session if I want to see an alternative conversion. ![]() I don't pixel peep, composition and framing is far more important to me. For the vast majority of my shots, it's fine.
